For which age is the Working Holiday Visa for South Korea available?
The age you must have at the time when applying for the visa depends on your nationality.
18-25 years old:
Citizens of Japan
18-30 years old:
Citizens of Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Chile, Czech Republic, France, Hong Kong, Hungary, Latvia, Luxembourg, Israel, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Spain, Sweden, USA
18-34 years old:
Citizens of Argentina, Denmark, Germany, Portugal, Taiwan
18-35 years old:
Citizens of Canada, UK
If you are for instance a citizen of the USA, the latest you can apply is one day before your 31st birthday. If you are a UK citizen, the latest you can apply is one day before your 36th birthday.
Once your visa is issued, you have one year from that date to enter South Korea for the first time. Your permitted stay in South Korea will begin from the day you first enter the country with your Working Holiday visa.
