Are there restrictions regarding jobs on a Working Holiday Visa in South Korea?

In South Korea, you are allowed to work a maximum of 25 hours per week with the Working Holiday Visa. This is not an average over the whole year; instead, the weekly maximum limit of 25 hours cannot be exceeded in any single week.

For some nationalities there are additionally limitations on the total duration of employment during the 12 months in Korea, or on the maximum duration they can spend with the same employer:

Israel: 3 months with the same employer
Australia, Hong Kong, Italy: 6 months with the same employer
Belgium: Maximum total 6 months of employment during your stay in Korea
Denmark: Maximum total 9 months of employment during your stay in Korea

With the Working Holiday Visa in South Korea, it is furthermore not allowed to work in jobs that require professional qualification, such as a doctor, engineer, cook, lawyer, professor, pilot, language instructor, and other professional services.

Jobs in the entertainment and sports sector such as dancer, singer, musician, acrobat, athlete, and similar are also prohibited.
