Is it safe to travel in Bolivia alone as a single female traveller?

Approximately 80 percent of our participants are women, with many falling in the 18 to 24 age group. Not a single instance of any serious security issue has been reported. Our on-site coordinators will provide guidance on how to conduct yourself to avoid problems, covering aspects such as clothing style, handling valuables, and navigating machismo and patriarchal structures. Our preparation material emphasizes these issues. It is crucial to adhere to these basic rules, which are equally applicable in many other places, to minimize risks as much as possible.
