How far in advance do I need to sign up?

Generally, we can organize participation in our programs relatively last-minute (2 weeks lead time is sufficient).

If you are reasonably flexible about the program, we can often enable program participation with only a few days' notice. If you want to book very last-minute (less than 2 weeks lead time), just ask us what we can arrange!

Remote internships (with the exception of internships with Japan companies) can be arranged with only a few days' lead time.

Some programs might need a longer lead time though:

For internships in certain fields, it may be necessary for us to have more time to find a suitable placement, resulting in a maximum lead time between booking and arrival of 2 months
In some cases, visa deadlines need to be met, e.g. for Working Holiday programs a minimum of 3 weeks of lead time are required; for jobs in China the visa process takes around 3-4 months, and for long-term language courses in Japan via a student visa there are government deadlines resulting in a lead time of 4-6 months.
Recommended vaccinations with specific intervals between doses might need to be considered.
