    The weather in Ecuador is very diverse and depends heavily on the region. Generally, due to its location on the equator, there aren't four classic seasons, but rather a wet and a dry season. Temperatures are often constant year-round, but can vary greatly depending on the altitude. Your placement is in the Amazon region, which has a hot, humid, and rainy climate.   • Will I have internet in Ecuador?
    There's no electricity during the day at your accommodation in Ecuador. A generator is only turned on in the evening to charge your electronic devices. Unfortunately, the internet connection is rather poor and often unstable. However, this gives you the chance to talk to other volunteers, switch off, and read a book or watch a movie.Few readers

    You have a variety of options! You can relax on-site with a book or games, or take a short trip to nearby towns. Puyo is just 15 minutes away, while Baños (1h 20m) and Tena (2h) are great for adventure sports and jungle tours.Few readers
