Should I apply for my visa online?

No. We recommend obtaining the visa upon arrival at the airport in Zanzibar/Tanzania rather than in advance. Applying for a visa in advance for volunteering or an internship requires extensive documents from the inviting organization, making the process unnecessarily complicated. At the airport, a simple invitation letter, which we will email to you approximately 1-2 weeks before your arrival and which you bring in print, is sufficient to obtain the appropriate visa. The entire process at the airport takes only a few minutes.
