During my stay in Nicaragua, can I travel around the country?
Certainly, you can do this – as most of our participants do. Our local coordinators are happy to advise you.
However, when the travel destination is too far away, e.g. if you want to travel to the Carribean coast, it may not be possible over a weekend. In this case, we would recommend planning these trips before the project begins or after its completion. You could also plan these during holidays (e.g., Semana Santa).
